Urbanice Malaysia, which is under the Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT), has signed a new memorandum of cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlement Programme (UN-Habitat) to further drive sustainable urban development. The cooperation will help to increase knowledge and build capacity through training, information sharing, as well as boosting technical support of livable city programmes, said KPKT minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican bin Naina Mercain. Urbanice Malaysia will also assist up to 12 cities annually in preparing their respective sustainable development reports.
