UOB Malaysia's new corporate headquarters, UOB Plaza 1 Kuala Lumpur, has been awarded the platinum certification from GreenRE Real Estate. This is the first bank headquarters in Malaysia to be recognised for its sustainable design, construction, and wellness features. UOB Malaysia CEO Ng Wei Wei highlighted the building as a testament to the bank's dedication to sustainability and confidence in Malaysia's long-term potential. Completed in September 2022, the lantern-shaped office building in Kuala Lumpur houses over 3,000 bank employees, including the main branch and wealth centre.
