ENEOS and PTT Global Chemical (GC) have launched a 6.7 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system across five production facilities in Thailand. GC, one of Thailand's largest integrated petrochemical and refining businesses, is aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20% by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. This solar rooftop installation aligns with GC's sustainability goals and is expected to save on power costs while reducing carbon emissions by approximately 4,300 tonnes annually. TotalEnergies ENEOS operates the PV solar system, supplying GC with electricity for 20 years without upfront investment.
