Top Glove Continues To Face Pressure On Labour Practices
Rubber gloves manufacturer Top Glove, which was hit by export bans due to alleged forced labour, continues to face pressure to clean up its labour practices. Labour rights advisors close to the matter said that the company did not seem to want to go any further than the minimum needed to satisfy American regulators. Top Glove's management said that the industry faced “challenging times” and that some struggling factories would have to close.
