Sunway Bhd aims to accelerate its decarbonisation efforts towards achieving net zero targets and remains committed to transparent communication with all its stakeholders. Its president Tan Sri Dr Chew Chee Kin said the group has established an embodied carbon emissions roadmap for its Building Materials and Quarry divisions ahead of the implementation of the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, which will tax carbon-intensive products.
