Solarvest Holdings Bhd’s subsidiary, Solarvest Borneo Sdn Bhd, has launched the Smart Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Green Hydrogen Testbed with the Centre for Technology Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS) and Huawei Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd as an initiative to develop the clean energy industry in the Borneo region. Solarvest said that the testbed was developed, built, and operated by a team of Sarawakian talents trained in CENTEXS Green Energy Lab. With a total installed capacity of 425 kilowatt-peak and 780 solar panels, it is the largest solar system deployed in Sarawak. The testbed can operate both on and off the grid.
