SME Bank launches Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan 2020-2024

SME Bank has launched the SME Bank Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan 2020-2024 (SME Bank OACP), developed in collaboration with the Malaysian Institute of Integrity. In a statement on Thursday, 16 December, the bank said that the initiative, which supports the government’s anti-corruption agenda through the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP) as well as the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan, is a testimony of SME Bank’s commitment to combating corruption and misconduct of integrity. MEDAC Minister Tan Sri Noh Omar said MEDAC is one of the 27 government bodies that are responsible for ensuring integrity and anti-corruption aspects remain as the main pillars in the distribution of funds and in organising entrepreneurial development programmes.
