Malaysia's Petronas and AM Green have partnered with Singapore's GIC to produce 5 million tons per annum (MTPA) of green ammonia in India by 2030. The green ammonia will be produced in multiple locations and will be exported to key OECD markets, including Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. This initiative aligns with India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and Europe's green hydrogen import targets. The partnership aims to become a leader in large-scale green ammonia production, supported by round-the-clock renewable energy and electrolyzers. It will also produce green chemicals and other high-value products to decarbonize industries and economies worldwide.
