Changi Airport Group (CAG) has introduced Changi Carbon Offsets, allowing passengers to offset the carbon emissions from their air travel, irrespective of the airline they are flying with. Using a user-friendly carbon calculator, passengers can determine the emissions from their upcoming flights and choose to offset them through credit card payment. CAG has partnered with Carbon Clicks, a New Zealand-based carbon offset company, to select high-quality projects benefiting the environment and communities. These projects involve conserving and protecting existing forests in Indonesia, planting forests in China, and supporting wind power generation in India. The initiative aligns with CAG's broader sustainability efforts to reduce carbon emissions and enhance environmental practices at Changi Airport.
