Selangor Sets Five Policies for the Operation of Recycled Plastic Waste to Prevent Pollution

The Selangor government has set five policies concerning the operation of factories and premises processing recycled plastic waste in the state to prevent pollution. As a result of the agreement, the import of recycled plastic waste for recovery or final disposal for all plastic recycling factories will no longer be allowed. Licenses to operate these factories will also need to be reviewed and renewed every five years.
