Property investor and timber extractor Seal Incorporated Bhd plans to acquire a 20% equity interest in loss-making MSR Green Energy Sdn Bhd for RM8.7 million and subscribe to irredeemable convertible preference shares in MSR Green Energy for RM6.3 million. This move aims to diversify Seal's business into renewable energy. The total investment of RM15 million will be funded by internally generated funds and a private placement exercise.
