The Economic Ministry organised a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) summit on May 19 at Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, aimed to reassure locals of the East Coast Economic Region Development Council's (ECERDC) commitment to raising living standards for East Coast residents by 2030. Prior to this, three pre-summit programmes were held in Kelantan, Pahang and Johor to help raise awareness of the SDGs among participants and residents in the region.
