Summary: Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS), a state-owned development financial institution that focuses on financing projects for the transformation of the Malaysian state of Sarawak, will partner with other banks to explore business opportunities, said DBOS chairman Tan Sri Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani. Speaking at the bank’s fifth anniversary dinner, he said DBOS will seek to provide green finance to ventures that incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into their business practices. He also said the bank will chart its ESG initiative in line with Sarawak’s post Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030) toward inclusivity, sustainability and environment.
