The Sarawak Forest Department signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) of Japan to advance sustainable forest management research. The MoA will help to shape effective methodologies for assessing and implementing essential functions and services of forest ecosystems.
