Recruitment Agency for the Ethically-minded to Open in Asia

A recruitment firm that specialises in finding jobs for people who want to work for ethically-minded companies has launched in London. Citizen Kind is the brainchild of British recruitment executive and lifelong vegetarian Emma Osborne who, after 12 years in the business—the last six in Singapore running the Asia operations of creative recruiter Aspire—found that she had grown “weary” of advocating for companies whose values she didn’t share. Her firm will cater to people who want to work in the sustainability departments of large companies to help “turn the tide”, or for startups looking to change consumer behaviour by offering vegan, sustainable or eco-friendly products to consumers. To date, Citizen Kind’s clients include investment firms, tech startups, e-commerce firms, charities, and vegan food brands. The firm has ambitions to launch in Asia, Europe and the United States by 2020.
