Ranhill Works With MGTC To Achieve Net Zero By 2050
Ranhill Utilities Bhd will work with the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) to achieve the former’s Net Zero Carbon 2050 Roadmap. To meet Ranhill’s net zero goals and protect the company from future climate risks, MGTC’s chief executive officer Ts Shamsul Bahar Mohd Nor said the organisation will help Ranhill set interim and long-term emissions targets, identify the key sources of emissions and provide mitigation strategies according to globally recognised standards such as the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard and the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for GHG Inventory.
