QC Fleet Management launches first commercial EV for the Malaysian market

QC Fleet Management Sdn Bhd officially launched the first commercial emission-free pure electric vehicle (EV), EC35, produced by Dongfeng Sokon Automobile (DFSK), China, for the Malaysian market. The E35 is powered by a 38.7 kilowatt-hour (kWh) lithium battery and comes with charging capabilities from 20% to 80% in 35 minutes using a DC rapid charger. The EV is estimated to provide an annual savings of 33% in servicing and in excess of 78% in daily fuel costs. A fully charged battery is expected to run for 268 kilometres as per the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) or 200km for city driving.
