Promoting shared responsibility among corporate executives on environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts is vital to effectively manage sustainability initiatives, said Bursa Malaysia chief executive officer Datuk Muhammad Umar Swift at the #digital4ESGForum organised by Bursa Malaysia. He said that C-suite executives in particular need to have a better understanding of ESG, as they are responsible for the organisation’s progress on its ESG initiatives.
