Property developer Paragon Globe Bhd (PGB) and Solarvest Holdings Bhd have announced plans to collaborate on a solar-ready factory and green industrial township project in Johor. The initiative aims to generate a 12.5-megawatt peak (MWp) in renewable energy capacity, in 57.06 hectares of green industrial development owned by PGB. PGB executive chairman Datuk Seri Edwin Tan Pei Seng said the project has the potential to attract foreign direct investment (FDI), and emphasised Johor had the highest FDI amongst states in 2022, with a total of RM70.6 billion.
