In order to support the decarbonization program and achieve the aspirations of Indonesia's Net Zero Emissions (NZE) 2060, PT Pertamina cooperates with the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in carrying out carbon trading. The collaboration was ratified in the form of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Pertamina and IDX in Nusa Dua, Bali which was part of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) International Conference and Expo. IDX, which has the potential to be appointed as the organizer of the Carbon Exchange in Indonesia can support Pertamina's plan to develop the Carbon Business Build initiative. Therefore, Pertamina and IDX will review the potential for business cooperation to increase knowledge, as well as optimize their respective duties and functions in the implementation of the voluntary carbon market and compliance carbon market.
