National Circular Economy Council Agrees to Waste Management Law Reform

Malaysia’s National Circular Economy Council (NCEC) has agreed to legislative reform to ensure the circular practices in solid waste management can operate smoothly nationwide. The Housing and Local Government Ministry said that the current legislation is inadequate to implement a holistic circular economy and a study must be conducted before the Circular Economy Bill is drafted.
