Muhyiddin Proposes Fair And Equitable Sharing of the Country's Prosperity
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today suggested that the new Bumiputera Agenda be renamed ‘Pelan Kemakmuran Bersama’ to ensure the country’s prosperity is shared fairly and equitably by all citizens. Addressing the delegates on the second day of the Bersatu general assembly today, Muhyiddin said this was to ensure fair economic sharing in the country. “The key prerequisite of this policy is that the country’s prosperity is shared fairly and equitably by all citizens regardless of race, class and territory,” he said. Muhyiddin said in drafting the new agenda, it must engage all parties; the Malay economic bodies, business community of all races, industry players, corporate members, economists, professional bodies, non-governmental organisations and Pakatan Harapan (PH) component parties.
