Masdar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s clean energy powerhouse, and engineering firm Citaglobal Berhad have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the joint development of renewable energy projects across solar, wind, battery energy storage systems and other technologies. Both companies will collaborate on developing renewable energy projects in the state of Pahang, and the MoU will facilitate the potential collaboration between Masdar and Citaglobal for solutions in Central Asia.
