MARC assigns gold to UEM Sunrise’s sustainability Sukuk

Malaysian Rating Corporation Bhd (MARC) has assigned a “Gold” sustainability Sukuk assessment to UEM Sunrise Bhd’s (UEMS) sustainability Sukuk framework. The eligible projects have a strong link with the key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives implemented by UEMS addressing key sustainability issues that are relevant for the property sector, in line with global as well as national sustainable development goals and priorities.
