The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will focus on enhancing governance and institutionalising integrity as the foundation of national efforts to revive the country’s economy. This is in line with the emphasis placed on good governance by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, said MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki. “These governance issues encompass various matters, not only integrity or misappropriation or corruption issues but also weaknesses in the administration,” he said.
