Athian, a livestock carbon credit marketplace based in Indianapolis, has raised an undisclosed amount of funds in a seed funding round with DSM Venturing and California Dairies, Inc. (CDI) as key investors. Athian's platform provides economic incentives for sustainable farming and helps reduce climate warming. CDI's investment is aimed at supporting its efforts to improve its environmental footprint. DSM Venturing is the corporate venture arm of Royal DSM, a global company in health, nutrition, and bioscience.
