Kuala Lumpur has opened its first Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Centre at Plaza The Exchange TRX. The centre aims to educate city dwellers on sustainable living and disseminate information on the authorities’ ESG framework. The initiative, led by Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Seri Kamarulzaman Mat Salleh, seeks to reduce the city’s carbon footprint and promote collaboration among various stakeholders. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, emphasized the importance of this centre in supporting public health and combating climate change.
