Johor To Place Log Booms At 12 Pollution Hotspots Along Skudai River
The Johor government will place log booms, which are barriers placed in rivers, at 12 pollution hotspots along the Skudai River (Sungai Skudai) to trap rubbish, said Chief Minister Onn Hafiz Ghazi. He said that the move was part of efforts to preserve the river and remove it from the list of the 10 most polluted rivers in Malaysia.
