Japan has reaffirmed its commitment to investing in Malaysia’s green energy sector, with a particular focus on hydrogen. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof highlighted Japan’s ongoing investments in Sarawak’s green hydrogen projects and expressed optimism about future collaborations. This commitment was reiterated during the APEC Energy Ministers Meeting in Peru, where discussions also covered energy security, safety, and inclusive energy transition strategies.
