Industry Leaders in Singapore Collaborate to Develop New Lower Carbon Technology Pathways
Chevron Singapore, Keppel, Pan-United Corporation, Surbana Jurong, Air Liquide Singapore, Osaka Gas Singapore, and Pavilion Energy have formed the Low Carbon Technology Industry Consortium (LCT-IC) to collaborate on lower carbon opportunities to support Singapore's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. The consortium will explore technologies such as Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Sequestration (CCUS) and lower carbon hydrogen production, transportation, distribution, and utilization. The members will conduct research, partner with higher learning institutes, and work on scalable industrial solutions for a lower-carbon economy. The MOU builds on a previous agreement signed in July 2020 and welcomes Air Liquide Singapore, Osaka Gas Singapore, and Pavilion Energy as new members.
