HSBC Amanah provides new green financing to Ikano Centres

HSBC Amanah has provided new green financing to help Ikano Centres sustainabyl develop its Johor retail properties, namely the Toppen Shopping Centre and IKEA Tebrau. The two properties first opened in 2019, and attract substantial shoppers from across South Malaysia and Singapore, but are also one of the first shopping centres in Singapore to receive LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accolades. With its funding, Toppen will build an additional multi-storey car park, which includes a rooftop with 50,000 square feet of new retail space.
