Heads of Malaysian government-linked companies, government-linked investment companies and members of the judiciary must declare their assets to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The decision was made by the Special Cabinet Committee on Anti-Corruption and details of this new code of ethics will be tabled by MACC at the next meeting. At the same time, the current mechanism for declaration of assets by Members of Parliament, senators and members of the administration would be strengthened.
