Malaysia’s first green technology new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturing and assembly factory Rembau, Negeri Sembilan, will spur the growth of new ecosystems in the state. Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the new factory can attract more electric vehicle (EV) or commercial vehicle brands that require the local assembly (CKD) format, and will create 600 new skilled job opportunities. The factory will assemble NETA electric vehicles, and is also open to manufacturing other NEV brands.
