FGV Holdings has successfully produced its first European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)-compliant crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) for use in food and personal care products. Group chief executive Datuk Nazrul Mansor marked this achievement as a significant step forward for FGV, which also aims to strengthen its partnerships with smallholders. The company now primarily sources fresh fruit bunches from its estates, Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) settlers, and smallholders already aligned with EUDR, Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO), and Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) traceability standards.
