Europe’s First National Carbon Removal Association Founded in Germany
Germany has established the first national carbon removal association, called Deutscher Verband für negative Emissionen e.V. (DVNE), with the mission of making the country a global leader in carbon removal and achieving net-zero emissions by 2045. With 31 founding members, DVNE will serve as a platform to promote carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and negative emissions and advocate for policies that support the country's net-zero goals. The association aims to be a coordinated and influential voice in Germany's growing carbon removal ecosystem.
