Malaysia calls on the European Union (EU) to implement the principle of just transition towards the application of sustainability principles to achieve resilient and sustainable socio-economic improvement. This was conveyed by Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz at the Asean Economic Ministers-EU Trade Commissioner Consultation in Semarang, Indonesia. In an Instagram post, he said that the private and public sectors in ASEAN need resources, support and sufficient time to implement its sustainable development goals.
