Early Exposure To ESG Crucial for Youth, Says Don
Youth voices on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives are vital for a sustainable future, says UMT Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohd Izani Mohd Zain. Speaking at the "Ruang Bicara" programme on Bernama TV, Prof Mohd Izani emphasised early exposure on ESG to students so they can apply the experience in their future careers. He said UMT will organise the inaugural ESG Global Young Leader Summit 2024 from Aug 22 to 25. The summit will bring together more than 150 students and student leaders locally and from abroad to engage in discussions and present resolutions to the government on how the voices of the youth could contribute to the formation of governmental policies and strategies.
