Cleantech Solar, based in Singapore, has commissioned a 3.4 MWp rooftop solar PV system at Konica Minolta Business Technologies' manufacturing facility in Malacca. The long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) includes full turnkey financing, installation, maintenance, and operation of the PV system by Cleantech Solar. The partnership is expected to generate approximately 66 GWh of clean energy and reduce nearly 52 kilotonnes of CO2 emissions over the system's lifetime. The solar PV system will contribute to Konica Minolta's sustainability efforts in Malaysia by powering a portion of its operations with renewable solar energy.
