Stock exchange operator Bursa Malaysia and national oil company Petronas have signed a Memorandum of Collaboration to help drive environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) adoption. As part of the collaboration, Petronas will participate in the Early Adopter Programme of Bursa Malaysia’s Centralised Sustainability Intelligence Platform to advocate for standardised ESG reporting and disclosures. Petronas’s efforts to leverage technology to accelerate ESG adoption and readiness across its supply chain will be supported by Universiti Teknologi Petronas, with its fundamental research and academic exchanges.
