Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider Betamek Bhd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore-based semiconductor company Krakatoa Technologies Pte Ltd to expand its vehicle electronics product offerings. The MoU will provide space for potential collaboration to develop electric vehicles' (EV) battery management system-on-a-chip, which is aligned to Krakatoa Technologies' expertise. The two companies have agreed to further discuss and negotiate on the terms and conditions of the definitive agreement for the exclusive collaboration.
