The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Energy Market Authority (EMA) of Singapore have signed an MoU to facilitate the development of renewable energy generation and transmission in the ASEAN region. This partnership aims to support the establishment of the ASEAN Power Grid and promote regional cooperation in the power sector. It will also contribute to Singapore's efforts to decarbonize its power sector and import clean electricity from neighboring countries. The collaboration will involve sharing expertise, best practices, and utilizing ADB's products and services to support clean energy projects in ASEAN countries.
