AirAsia Unveils ‘Save Our Malayan Tiger’ Livery to Champion Wildlife Conservation

AirAsia has unveiled a special “Save our Malayan Tiger” aircraft livery to bring the Malaysian government’s wildlife conservation campaign to life. According to a press release, the livery forms part of AirAsia’s ongoing sustainability efforts to support conservation and environmental programmes, and would encourage millions of people to pledge their support for the cause. The Airbus A320 aircraft livery was launched by the minister of water, land and natural resources, Yang Berhormat and Xavier Jayakumar alongside AirAsia group CEO Tony Fernandes and AirAsia Malaysia CEO Riad Asmat in Sepang. The move comes shortly after AirAsia’s employees made a visit to the National Wildlife Rescue Center in Sungkai, Perak in October. The airline also hopes to push the Ministry of Water, Land and Natural Resources’ environmental campaigns by sponsoring return flights for 10 orang asli (aboriginal people) to attend the Hutan Kita exhibition launch in August 2019.
