Aeon Credit Service (M) Bhd has secured RM600 million in sustainability-linked loans (SLLs) with three-year tenure from Mizuho Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, MUFG Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, and CIMB Bank Bhd. The proceeds will go towards general working capital, refinancing purposes, and enhancing the company’s sustainability performance. In a statement, Aeon Credit said that upon securing the SLLs, predetermined sustainability performance targets (SPTs) that are in accordance with the company’s existing sustainability framework were established.
