AirCarbon Exchange (ACX) has launched ACX Abu Dhabi, an exchange and clearing house within Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) that facilitates carbon credit trading. ACX Abu Dhabi is the world's first regulated exchange and clearing house for environmental instruments such as carbon credits. The first carbon credits trade on the platform was completed between First Abu Dhabi Bank and Helix Climate. Additionally, the Carbon Market Board (CMB) was introduced as an electronic trading facility to enable over-the-counter transactions, with South Pole participating in the first trade.
