The mainstreaming of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations in financing and investment decisions puts sustainability at the heart of corporate strategy. In line with global development, businesses in Malaysia are also focusing more on sustainability. To achieve ESG aspirations and effectively managing stakeholders’ expectations, the risks associated with environmental, social and governance aspects must be carefully identified and assessed, and this is where ESG due diligence comes into focus.
